In high school, Jack was 5th at hte Foot Locker National Cross Country Championships and 4th in the Nike Outdoor National mile. While at Wisconsin, he was part of the school record setting Distance Medley Relay and was the first Badger to run under 4:00 for a mile indoors. He was 3rd at NCAAs three times; twice in the DMR and once in the 1,500m.
